Part 1: Common OBS Not Working Problems 1. Sorry, maybe i’m going by old info, this was how I did it. I could still cheat from the brush settings file (which also has the order of the brushes same as I left them) but cannot automate the process somehow. I’ve tried this when switching computers, and i don’t know how to restore from those, because it hasn’t really worked so far as expected? The brushes should be restored in the program too, but usually the pasted files just stay there so I have no idea if there is another way to initiate this without doing it manually. I’ve heard that it should be possible to just plop the files into the same folders of another computer’s firealpaca. I don’t know if there’s sure-fire way to restore brushes from this without just re-inserting them into the program manually. Old: when you open up the configuration folder from the Help menu, in it you will find your brushes in bitmaps and their current settings as a separate file. Folder itself) wherein you will find all the settings and names of your brushes. Maybe this would work in your case? The config folder has brushes and anything else custom-made saved there + the brush settings file (bitmap and script have separate folders and there’s separate settings+ brush folder settings file in the Config. ![]() ![]() I’ve kept it un-installed for a long time, the files have still been there. I’ve tried this with un-installing firealpaca, even when Or something similar) the usually the files in the config folder Programs/software/etc but not the FILES (i.e doing a restore point wipe So I’m coming here in hopes that people can clarify why the custom brushes are like this… Why can’t FireAlpaca let me save all of them so that when I reinstall it, I still can have them backed up and ready to use immediately again?)Įdit: okok, here’s an idea: if your dad is only wiping the (I tried searching this on my own and I can’t find anything on saving all the custom brushes. (But I don’t even REMEMBER every brush’s bitmap image it uses…)Ĭan anybody out there help ASAP? I’ll delete this when it’s too late for anybody to answer…. I guess all I can do is take screenshots of every. If I don’t have any options with this, then…. I really hate having to go through the process of setting them up in the exact way they were before (which I had to do for my laptop, and before I got 10+ brushes I had to go through this in my last restore state on this desktop). Now, with FireAlpaca, I have a TON of custom/bitmap brushes that I made and I can’t find ANYTHING to save their settings, names, etc. (Seriously, can my computer just NOT get viruses for once? I’m so careful to not get viruses and they make their way into my computer anyways! I’m so ticked off about it!) He’s not willing to try any anti-virus or virus cleaning softwares and it’s frustrating to go through this stupid “image restore” process every few months it seems. This is kinda urgent, because my dad is planning to clean out my entire computer (including programs…) ‘cause of some stupid virus.
